Works perfectly
So I have tried about a half dozen different refractometers this season. Everyone we one we have purchased has given us a different result. For what ever reason our honey keeps coming back with a high moisture content and its difficulty sometimes to get a accurate number on the regular ones. Decided to try this out and so far it has been great it gives us a solid number. The only issue I have is the formula didn't come on the side or the qr code for information on how to calibrate it. I ended up taping the formula on the side but still need directions for calibration. It would also be nice if you could change from CĀ° to FĀ°. Other then that I like it so far.

After calibration and testing honey it was reading 2 to 3 high on moisture content. Compared it against 3 manual refractometers and another digital one. Called Hillco to be sure I wasn't doing anything wrong and they said I was doing everything correctly. They are out of stock, thus waiting for a replacement. Hopefully this is a one off but I would recommend to everyone to to compare it to another refractometer. The unit is very easy to use and calibrate. If it did not have the accuracy issue I would have given it a lot higher rating. I will adjust this review and add more comments once I receive the replacement unit.
