Fast shipping
The jury is still out on this heated uncapping knife. I will revert back to my regular uncapping knife until I find data that shows the knife's high temperature does not effect the beneficial components of honey. An off/on switch would be a major upgrade.
Knife quit working already, maybe Iām doing something wrong with it. Got through about 20 supers then quit heating again. Love Hillco , this is my least favorite product, everything else is 5 stars from hillco, not this knife.
Update: Hillco is the best bee company in the world, They replaced the faulty uncapping knife, they gave me a serrated beautiful uncapping knife, amazing customer service, absolutely wonderful, 5 stars for Hillco
This heated uncapping knife is okay, but doesn't have a thermostat screw to regulate temperature. It works about as well as my old one that I was hoping to replace (which does have a temperature adjustment screw). But keep in mind that it was a low-cost knife, so I should temper my expectations. Definitely works better than an unheated knife.
