Our large frame feeder holds about 1.75 gallons of feed!
It replaces 2 frames in a deep hive box, and has a nice cap-and-ladder system that minimizes drowning of bees by giving them a ladder to climb down and get to the syrup.
Please note: the feeder measures about 3-3/8" wide at the widest point. Depending on variations in your box and frame widths, it could take up more than 2 frame spaces.

Works perfectly
For some reason the center tube is semi blocked with a mold plastic piece inside. You have to force it in . I have staple the tubes in so they don’t float up. You have to tape the edges of the tank so bees don’t get in and die.
A. We need a frame tank feeder that is completely sealed except a filler cap. Then make the bottom a dribbler so bees can feed from outside instead of going into a tube . Put a feeder cap on the bottom like the buckets have. Should be easy to design. IMO .
These make it really easy for the bees to go up and down, in and out. It really helps them when they first get put into a beehive with no food inside of it.
It allows then to get right to work!
Easy to put together.
