You'll love this tool for marking queens! When you see the queen on a frame, just place the cage over top of her, gently press down until it holds her in place for marking, give her a dab of paint, and you're done! No need to catch the queen, no risk of her flying away, and much less risk of queen injury.

Michael It works but I've found the dark top plastic hard to see the queen's placement.

ANDREWG I have used similar devices in the past - made of wood with a netting of nylon threads with great results.
The plastic weave is too course and restricts the marking pen from simply doing it job, I was forced to resulting on more paint on the weave than my queen -and thereafter a mess . Cannot recommend.
