Residential Delivery Charge
Residential Delivery Charge
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is an additional charge that we add to pallet shipments (such as larger honey extractors) when the customer requires delivery to a residential address. For various reasons, trucking companies consider residential deliveries to be more costly and time-consuming for them than commercial/business deliveries. Any delivery in a residential area, or a location with a home on the property is considered residential, even if you are running a business on the same property. Freight companies charge us anywhere from $30-75 for residential deliveries, so we ask our customers to pay a flat $35 fee if they need a pallet delivered to a residence.
