Queens were delayed in shipping and arrived 6 days late. No fault of Hillco but ups failed miserably. I contacted Hillco and they arranged to ship me 2 replacement queens for free before I received the original queens. When they arrived they were healthy as could be and every attendant in the cages was still alive. I called and cancelled the replacement queens and I was assured that if they did not lay that they would replace them. Both queens are now laying and doing well.
My little queen arrived happy and healthy! I placed her in her new nuc but unfortunately it happened to be in the middle of a heat wave which caused a frame of honey to collapse causing absolute chaos in their home. Thankfully she was strong and her workers loved her so with a little tlc and a home upgrade theyre bouncing back and building up their strength into the fall/ winter season! I am a big fan of Saskatraz genetics and would definitely buy from Hillco again!
I purchased total of 8 Saskatraz Queens from HillCo during 2026 season on 4 different purchases. I'm very impressed with the entire process. I will be purchasing from them next season. All 8 Queens were accepted and are going to work.
The queen arrived as expected. Was very active and healthy. The queen was accepted into the hive and is laying eggs.
