We're SO EXCITED to launch a high quality, affordable fondant product under our Turbo™ feeds brand!
This fondant is made by a reputable European manufacturer, using the same process and formulas as other leading brands sold in the U.S. market.
Turbo™ fondant is a sugar-only product, and does not include any additional vitamins or other additives. A simple, AFFORDABLE feed that your bees will LOVE!
Our fondant is specially formulated with a consistency and texture that makes it easy for bees to ingest. Don't mess around making your own sugar bricks/cakes, or the very messy "mountain camp" method! Just toss these patties on your hives and help them thrive!
Turbo™ fondant patties come in a 2.2 lb (1kg) size. You can either buy them individually, or in cases of 12 patties.
When to feed fondant:
Fondant can be fed anytime, but it is most beneficial to feed in winter and very early spring, when the temps are too cold to feed liquid syrup.
How to feed:
Simply cut a 4" square hole in the front (label side) of the package, and place with the opening face-down on top of your frames. (We actually prefer to cut the whole front side of the package off for easier bee access).
A shim may be helpful or necessary to provide space on top of the frames.
How much should I use?
Great question, but it depends largely on weather conditions and colony strength. At a minimum, plan to feed 1-1.5 patties per month to each hive during the winter and early spring months.
Patties can be stored at room temp (below 85 degrees F).

Very easy to put on top of your colonies if stores are running low. Just cut a square on one side and place on top of the colony, the bees really seem to like this product! I will be ordering again in the future!
Bees seem to like the fondant no problem with that. Took 3 days to get a tracking number and I had to call them to get that. Was told by employee that they were having growing pains.
In 7 days this package was cleaned out well enough to reuse the plastic. Equal size of Hive Alive on another hive that wasn’t completely eaten in the same week. Bees eat this like a fat boy at a buffet.
I have it in 30 hives. I only lost one so it is doing pretty well.
