Our assembled wood frames are AWESOME! We source the frames from Beeline and the foundation comes from Pierco, a pioneer in plastic beehive foundation.
The frames are made from top quality eastern white pine, machined to impeccable standards, and assembled with glue at all 4 corners and 6 staples for rigid, long-lasting durability.
Made from the thickest wood in the industry! The 3/4" top bar and 1/2" bottom board are joined together with beefy 7/16" thick components. You will not find a better or stronger frame ANYWHERE!
Pierco foundation has been the industry standard for decades. We use only the DOUBLE BEESWAX COATED variant. This thick and generous coating of fresh, pure beeswax helps ensure that your bees will draw comb quickly. Lots of beeswax is the key to success with plastic foundation!
