The Pierco company is the original inventor of 1-piece plastic frames, and they've stood the test of time! We've used these components in our own hives for years now. They work out nicely for us and you'll like them too!
Although a little less rigid than a wood frame, they are still very durable and will last a long time in your apiary.
With double wax coating for superior bee acceptance, these frames are a solid choice at a great price!

Great product exactly what I wanted
I know many people complain and say plastic doesn’t work and the bees just don’t take to them. Here is some proof they do! If you can afford wooden frames they are the way to go imho but when buying bulk numbers things get way too pricey. The key to these is putting them in with a strong colony on a strong flow and you won’t have issues. These pics were less than two weeks of the bees being on the plastic frames. They were heavy wax. I wish Hillco would carry triple!
Everyone knows you can't catch a swarm without a used brood comb frame. I had just emptied a bait hive into its new yellow long Layens / Langstroth hive home. I grabbed 5 Pierco frame fresh out of the box as place holders. Don't want bees building their own comb on the bait hive cover that would be messy. Anyway I placed the bait hive back on the tree it came off of and of course the 3 foot 3 miles rule was in effect with a couple hundred lost souls congregating there and made it their home. After 2 weeks I figured they would have been gone but the number of bees seemed to have increased.
Swarms are picky and won't just move into any old thing, but they did find the Pierco frames acceptable.
