Apivar strips are one of the easiest varroa mite treatment options on the market. Place the strips in the brood nest and leave them on for 42 days. Because the treatment period is extended, Apivar reaches multiple generations of emerging brood for a strong mite kill of up to 99% efficacy in a single application.
This Apivar mite treatment is available in 3 convenient package sizes:
4 strip pack, treats 2 hives
12 strip pack, treats 6 hives
60 strip pack, treats 30 hives
Once opened, Apivar strips need to be used immediately.
Unlike formic acid products, honey supers need to be removed during treatment with Apivar.
Do not use 2.0 it’s will make your bees abscond!!!
I used 2.0 on 30 colonies and lost 22 within 7 days they all absconded, the regular apivar I used didn’t do that, all in same yard, this treatment has cost me 1000’s of dollars please do not use!!!!!!!
