I thought it was stainless but it is a plastic part. Either way it works great and stops your hose from getting stuck on the bottom of your buckets.
I love these flow savers. So much better than just sticking a hose in the tank.

Initialy thought this was a stainless steel flow saver, It is not it appears to be printed type material. Saying all that it appears to be good quality it fits perfectly to hose.
