How much should I use? Great question, but it depends largely on weather conditions and colony strength. At a minimum, plan to feed 1-1.5 patties per month to each hive during the winter and early spring months.

Not much to say other than when over-wintering this product will give your bees what they need and boost their immune system as well as produce prolific bee rearing from my experience come spring. I place a whole pack onto the main brood box even if I have a few brood boxes to let them forage within the hive here in NC. Will certainly be adding this again come Late October to early November prior to the weather getting too cold to open up the hives.

The fondant hive alive patty is great I had a problem last fall a neighbor had a exterminator come and sprayed a swarm and I don't know what all he sprayed but we had many bees start dying. I got t reading and it was saying feed feed feed your bees so I started using hive alive fondant and 8 hives survived and and came back realy strong. But before they did I ordered 4 packages because I wasn't for sure they would make it because there was just a small cluster of bees but with hive alive they came back stronger than ever..This is a great honest Co.and great place to buy your bees and supplies if anything happens through postal and you loose bees this Co. will replace them .I wished our postal service was as good as this Company
