A great way to treat your supers for wax moths!
B402 (also known as Certan) is a preventative treatment that controls wax moth. It is a safe and environmentally friendly product based on a concentrated solution of Bacillus thuringiensis, a micro-organism. This product is sold as B402 (Certan) in the USA and B401 (Certan) in the rest of world (where available)
B402 is used after the honey harvest, when the frames are stored and kills young wax moth larvae. It must therefore be used before a wax moth infestation. A single application will provide very high efficacy against wax moth right up through to the following season.
Dilute in water (1 part B402, 19 parts water) and spray on both sides of frames prior to storage of frames.
This 5 oz. bottle is enough to treat 100 deep frames, 150 medium Frames, or 200 shallow frames.

We always use Certan B402 on our comb that we have had brood in as an added peace of mind. We also use moth crystals as well when storing. We've never had an issue. We show on our Youtube channel how we use it.
